Our gorgeous Golden Topaz Oval gemstone drop dangling earrings are set in a solid 14K WHITE Gold lever back style. Euro-style lever backs employ a spring closure which make the earrings secure and comfortable.  The Oval shaped stones are 8  x  6  mm and each stone weighs approximately 1.6 carats (3.2 CTW). The length of the complete dangle lever back earring is  24 mm (1 ”). 


In ancient times any gem that was yellow was called topaz. In fact, the name topaz may have been derived from a sanskrit word meaning "fire". Today we know that topaz also occurs in white crystals, as well as pink, blue, green, brown, and a sherry red color.

Golden Topaz occurs in many locations, but Brazil is the main source.


Topaz is a heavy stone and is a number 8 on the Mohs scale, making it one of the hardest stones. These factors enable it to take a high polish, making it a very attractive stone for jewelry. The gemstones themselves are displayed to their best advantage in this classic dangling style.
